Boston United have re-launched the ‘Support The Pilgrims’ campaign.

The ‘Save The Pilgrims’ campaign was launched at the start of last season, as the club fought to simply stay in existence.

Club officials have now modified the programme and donations are being welcomed to aid the ongoing running costs of the football club, which continue to be high.

Chairman David Newton told bufc.co.uk: “We are grateful to everybody who donated money last season in what turned out to be a fantastic effort all round.

“Last season we managed to secure the immediate future of Boston United and although the picture is improving, the football club is still projected to run at a loss this season.

“We are making great strides commercially and through our community projects, but we still need the help and support of local businesses and the club’s fanbase.

“I am acutely aware that the economic conditions remain challenging, however if you are in a position to make a donation, no matter how small,  please feel free to do so via one of the methods listed.”

The donations process for 2008-2009 brought £21,450 into the club’s coffers.
